Sewing desk
My wife is an avid sewer and we didn't have enough horizontal surfaces in our 337, so I removed the sofa at the rear and replaced it with a desk that I made:
The 6 drawers and the door on the left are all self-closing so they won't open while traveling. The cabinets are made from plywood with a cherry front. The drawers are made from poplar. She has an office chair that is tied in with bungee cords.
There are 3 110 volt outlets at the floor level and 2 more on the top (these have 2 USB outlets each). We also have USB outlets that are wired directly to the 12 volt system so these are live if we are boondocking. So between them all we have 10 USB outlets and 1 12 volt outlet on the top. That should be enough...
I'm not sure how much the desk weighs (but i tried to keep it down when possible) but I'm sure it weighs a little more than the sofa it replaced. But since it is at the back that helps our pin weight (and I need all the help I can with that!) Last time we went to a CAT scale our beastie weighed 13,000 pounds.John & Cheryl

Thanks for the compliments. It was fun building it and my wife loves it.
And it is a little heavier than the couch it replaced, so it took a little weight off the king pin.John & Cheryl
