New members from Colorado

We pick up our new Solitude 344GK next Friday. We looked at Solitudes a few years ago but for some reason we purchased a Montana High Country instead. We enjoyed that for a year and a half but knew that we wanted the higher quality of the Solitude (we were not too thrilled when a slide cable broke and the persistent error messages with the four place electric leveling system). With either rig, we realized that our Ram 2500 payload rating wasn’t enough so we’ve also upgraded to a Ram 3500 dually 4x4. The High Country and our 2500 were comfortable on our 10,000 mile trip last spring, but we are looking forward to the higher quality and more stable operation with the Solitude and the 3500. We enjoyed the Montana forum and are now looking forward to the Grand Design forum.

Sorry for the late welcome but glad to have y’all aboard. Hope all went well with the delivery of your new RV. We just spent a few days in Pagosa on the way home from Durango. Very nice little town.

Thank you! We now pick it up next Friday. Needed a different hitch plate. We will never leave Pagosa because it’s beautiful and home, but after 30 years, we try to head south for the winters! Looking forward to the Solitude over the High Country!
