I'd remove the protector for the winter if it isn't a breathable material.

I purchased an additional ceramic coating package for my Grand Design Solitude. The front end cap peeled. When I turned in a claim to MaxxGard it was denied. I contacted Grand Design and was told that they didn’t know anything about an additional coating. I paid almost $4000 to have the end cap painted. Also the recliners peeled and I turned in a claim to MaxxGard it also was denied. I wouldn’t recommend it. Save your money. I’ll bet the finance guy is trying to sell it to you.
