    Wet bolt won't take grease

One of my wet bolts will not take grease. Is there an easy way to remedy this situation without replacing it ??

I had to perfectly align my grease gun and really push it up against the zerk for it to take grease but once doing that it flowed right. Is your bolt installed with the opening at 3 or 9 o'clock?

I have the same situation. One guy on YouTube recommended heating it with a torch. I tried that, but it didn't work. I'm interested to see the responses.

Some of the ideas for getting grease into wet bolt from this thread https://www.mygrandrv.com/forum/show...t-bolt-bushing
    10,000 PSI grease gun
Jacking up the trailer to take weight off of the suspension

I had to take the weight off of all the springs the first time to get the grease to pump in. (I also got the locking grease nozzles which helps). I lifted the 5er by the frame.
Since the first lifting of the trailer, I now do not have to do this when greasing.

I use my leveling jacks on that side to take some weight off the axle and pump in the grease.

Assuming the zerk fitting isn't broken you have to use a lot of pressure against the zerk fitting to force the grease in; sometimes it's a 2 person job.

I've used this and it works every time (again, assuming the zerk fitting isn't clogged or broken). Well worth the price.

Loosen the nut only, then try grease

I had this on one bolt after 1 year of use. I started to replace it. After untightening but not removing the nut and before proceeding to pound out the splines, I tried again with the grease gun and was successful!

Me as well. I've been fine to grease the shackle bolts. My problem is the bolt that anchors the MORryde triangle to the frame bracket and connects the two leaf spring assemblies.

Take some weight off of the wheels on that side.
