That set screw is a much better idea than my thought of using a pvc glue!
Thanks for that!

Sewer Cap Surprise - You are not alone
Digging up this one since we just bought our reflection and are having the exact same issue. I’m curious though, has anyone had this fixed through warranty work? The t-58 seems like a great idea but you can’t find one anywhere now due to Covid.
I plan on taking it in for warranty once we winterize but that leaves me with a surprise for the remainder of our trips this year.
Would it be reasonable if an RV parts store near me has a plumbing section to piece a blade valve assembly together with the end to be able to secure a cap and glue the female section on to the pipe coming from the RV?
Any help is appreciated.

The T-58 is Great But . . . . .
I have had two T-58's stolen when parked at stops along our routes.
Seems like everybody wants them BUT doesn't want to use their own money. The set screw might be the answer as I don't want to use PVC pipe glue in case I need to replace it at a later date

Set screw still holding like a champ since last October and T58 still hasn’t been stolen. And most importantly, no mess when removing the cap.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately everything is on back order these days. Luckily for me a local RV parts and service place had the necessary parts for
me to cut off the end of the pipe on the RV and glue on my own setup with the valterra bladex and a cap.
