Thanks. The projected track now is up the east coast, could be a real bad scene if it's 140 mph and is over water close to shore. If I lived on the coast, which I have, I would already be shuttered and gone.

Think the winds will reach Colorado? Just kidding. I use to live in Florida and lived through a number of hurricanes. Not fun.

This hurricane is the most powerful to make landfall near FL since 1935. Slammed into the Bahamas with 185 mph winds gusting to 200 according to local news, 223 mph according to online sources. I hope it turns as predicted. The Bahamas is going to be a mess, prayers for them.

I have two nieces that live in Kissimmee and work at WDW. Building are all Cat 5 rated. They stayed at the resort and served the guests throughout the storm.
WDW keeps the resorts hotels open during storms and fires up those monster generators located next to each building if the power goes out
They feed, water entertain and have activities for all the guests.
