Propane Usage
We do a lot of dry camping and go through a 30 lb. propane tank about every 10 to 12 days without even using the furnace. We had the dealer check for leaks and there is no leaks. Our other camper had the smaller refrigerator and 2 tanks would last the whole season with some furnace usage. We now have a 337 rls. Does the bigger refrigerator actually use that much more propane? We have the Dometic.

Yes, that frig uses a lot of propane. We took our 337 in for some warranty work and the dealer was checking the frig for not cooling well on propane while traveling. Got the 337 back and it went through 3 tanks in about 4 weeks. I started checking for leaks and found that the dealer had unplugged the frig and did not plug it back in. The frig automatically switched to propane.
I started carrying a spare 20# bottle in the truck, just in case.Eddie and Donna
