Satellite Connector in Wet Bay
I've got a Direct TV slimline SWM3 dish set up. I have two receivers in the rig, one in bedroom and one in living area. My satellite 'IN' connections go to two connectors in the wet bay on a three connector plate. One is marked Sat/Living Room, one is labelled 'Cable' and the bottom is labelled 'Bedroom/Aux.' My connectors from my SWM splitter go to Sat/LR and Bedroom/Aux. All has been working fine.
So, I am curious about the separate plate with one connection labelled 'Satellite.' Has anyone used that and what is its purpose?
