Reflection 230RL Gap, front and rear of slide. Is this normal?

I have a new, 2020 230RL with one slide. Ya know, I never really looked at the slide even in my walk arounds at check out time. Today I put the slide in and noticed a fairly large gap between the body siding and the slide. It "appears" to be tight against the gaskets and "looks" like it is bottomed out underneath. I have attached a picture.

I "think" this is normal, but what an air scoop for dirt, rain and other debris to get forced in.

Anyway, just checking if this is in fact normal.
