I’ve read and watched good things on the Richsolar 100 watt panels for $80 and the Victron 100/30 MPPT controller for $226. For $386 it seems I’d end up with a slightly better setup with the mppt and Bluetooth, is there something else I’m missing though? Do you think the MPPT is worth that extra cost?
Not for a simple 100 watt or 200 watt setup.
On a small low-voltage system like this a PWM controller will actually outperform an MPPT controller. I’ve seen numerous real-world tests proving this.

Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.
