Replace shower faucet Solitude

Has anyone replaced the cheapo plastic shower valves in a Solitude (probably same as used in other Grand Design models)? We've replaced the kitchen faucet and bath sink faucets with Moen residential stuff. I want to do same for shower but not sure if I can find a residential that will fit without mods.

I didn't replace mine. But I did do some work on it. Info is here.

I did replace that cheapo kitchen faucet; it was just so non-functional. So far I'm OK with the bathroom & shower faucets.

I see that you have a 2019, not sure what the faucet styles were then but in our 2021 the kitchen faucet is okay and we’ve already replaced the shower head with a oxygenics and the the taps for the shower are also okay but that sink faucet in the bathroom is awful. I plan on replacing ours sooner than later but can we just use any single stem faucet we like or is it different for a RV?

I tried to replace mine two weeks ago with a high-dollar recommended one that I finally found at Camping World in Colorado Springs. It was kinda heavy and made the holder swing down and did not fit well into the holder so wife made me take it back. I think it would work fine but minor annoyance that the holder/bracket was made for a lighter head than the manufacturers so it may take some patience to constantly adjust/tighten it. Also, the hose on the one that came with the Solitude is much less stiff/durable, so I think that might take some tinkering with on the after-market heads.
