    I settled on the same thing. I'd rather not have to pay for a new drain field for a minor convenience.

    We use ours a guest quarters as well. [emoji41]

    I put in a plastic 55 gal barrel with a 20' finger. Works great but probably not to code

    I dump ours to the septic tank for the house. Unfortunately the logistics do not allow for access to a clean out, so I have tapped into an overhead line in the basement using a 1.25 HP garbage disposal and a 1 HP waste pump and connected by 1 inch PVC with a back flow. In order to not overload the septic I dump the black tank twice a week, or every 2-3 days depending on my work schedule.
