Best 12V air compressor

All that applies to the Black & Decker I linked to above. At 1/4 the price!

The page you linked above is very light on specifying what the pump can do, and doesn't seem to offer a link to a manual or more information.

You didn't likely buy with so few details; do you have another source for information about it?

I recall emailing B&D to get it's top pressure, but that's it.

As I have one can can answer questions, but there isn't much to know. So far it just works, none too fast or quietly. The automatic shutoff display shows current pressure when not running. The power cord is about 10 feet so I bought a 20 ft extension and installed a 12V port in my basement.

There's a neat trick of wiring a 12V plug adapter to plug into the trailer cable as a power source. At www.RV-project.com

I just bought the Viair 400P. Had the harbor freight one, which lasted 1 1/2 trips before it siezed.

Been using my harbor freight freight compressor for 5 years now and it's still going strong . It's a pitsburg model though.

Save some money over a Viair and get a Smittybilt. They are known for their heavy duty Jeep accessories and make a heavy duty 12v compressor that has better specs than the Viair and it's much cheaper. I got mine from Amazon. When you compare actual specs, it's a great deal.
