I noticed my black handle was getting hard to close. I ended up changing my rubber valve seals. What a pain on the a--. After loosing the bolts at the valve location underneath there was no play to get the sleeve out between the pipes. After putting some pressure against the black and kitchen tanks I got it out and I replaced the rubber gasket seals. I also used silicone grease on the seals. My handle works great now. My old seal on the black tank valve was damaged and was making it hard to completely close the valve. Also the cables length is very long and loops underneath. Instead of taking down the whole underneath material I cut a U shape cut below the area of the valve and when I was done I used the black tape contractors use on new homes outside walls to seal up between the plywood. Works great.
