    I used one of these extension cords at a vacant lot when I needed to be far from the outlet. I ran refrigerator, fan and the on-board charger with it without a problem. Just didn't run water heater or AC units.

    I used this adapter at the inlet of the trailer https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Mine is 50 amp buth they also have a 15 to 30 amp version.

    As long as you don’t run the AC you should be fine with heavy extension cord. I use a dog bone to an extension cord no problems
