Howdy Folks Have A ? On The 310

We looked at the 310GK today and I forgot to bring my tape measure. Would someone be kind enough to give me a actual measurement from rear of ladder to tip of cap. I do not feel that the 34'11" in the brochure is correct actual length if someone was putting the unit in a barn or garage.

I will have more question, but if you put to many in one post they seem to not all get answered.

    Thanks!

We’re on the road in ours , I will try to find a tape in the morning and let you know if I do. As best I recall it is in the low 36’ range. We park in a 40’ deep building , outside dimension, and it is tight on the ends. You can walk around the ends , barely. It is a red iron building so you lose 8” on each end for the beams.

Published measurements are from center of pin to rear of body.

Does not include ladder or nose that extends over pin.

Thank you huntr70 that's good to know. Sounds like the measurements are to let you know how much living space you will have with the trailer.

Yes I have seen some that have two measurements one that is "travel length". Personally I am more concerned with the complete travel length especially if someone has plans to garage the unit or ease of fitting in a CG.

We have the 310GK-R. The vin # indicates it 36’. We were told the living space is 34’11”. The frame is 35’11”. I have not put tape on it but this is what our dealer told us. We discussed it in detail, I told them they need to get everyone on the same page.

When WhittleBurner helped measure our 310 it was just about 36' from nose to ladder.

Yes, the 310GK is probably 35'-9"ish, I have a 35 foot storage parking spot and the tip of the nose caps extends over 9-10". The 34'-11" is likely the hitch pin center to the rear wall. But safe to say it really is 36'-0" tip to ladder.
