    No. The fireplace is electric and there is no combustion to produce CO.

    Ours goes off if: the dog passes gas😜 or when our gray or black tanks are full. Some are units appear to have been built with the vent stub being cut too long which traps sewer gas and causes it to leak past the under sink valves.

    Wet Dog?

    We had friends who told us that theirs went off frequently when they camped . They spoke with other campers about it who told them that it was probably being triggered by their “wet dogs” as it only seemed to happen if the dogs were wet or damp when they were in the camper. They said it has something to do with the smell that they put off when wet ...I don’t know if there’s truth to it, but they’ve tested it and it appears that is the case.
