    Tires

    do you run factory tires or upgrade? Seems many manufacturers put least expensive tires they can find

    I'm still on the factory tires. I have just over 10K on them. I had one blow out, but otherwise they have been fine. I've towed from 65 to 72 with them and they do well. We will be switching to something different in February 2015. Either Ribs or 614s most likely

    Too many OEM tire problems have been noted on this and other RV forums. I'm putting Duravis R250s on my Reflection bunkhouse trailer immediately.

    I'm looking at a Solitude 379FL. I think the Durabis 250 might be a little light

    Their LT235/85R16 are only rated for 3042#...fine for a camper with 6000# axles but not Solitudes with 7000# axles.

    That's the same with the ribs too. The only tires that are "rated" for the weight in the size are the super st's. None of the others "officially" handle the weight.

    I changed mine out with about 10,000 miles for G614's. Sold the take offs on craigslist for $200.00
