Great idea...!!!... We never turn them on just because of where the switch is located....

Here in Florida they simply disintegrate in the Florida Sun. We are not out of warranty and we have had them replaced twice. The last time the strips were not sticking to the cap, so we just told the Dealer to remove them and we'll use them for another purpose (I'm thinking pantry).

The Cap actually looks better without them installed.

I know they look really neat, but not sure of their purpose.

Are they so you can light up the front of the trailer when hitching/unhitching...??

Do you drive with them on...??...if so, maybe a dimmer switch should be added to them..

    Looking for input....Thanks...
They are there just to annoy your neighbors that are 12' away lol

That’s what I was about to do as our unit has no lighting on the one side. We are camp managers in Kananaskis and we have people coming by at different times so having good exterior lights is important.

    Was rerouting the wiring easy?

I had to drop the coroplast for a different reason, so fished the wire then. Without dropping the belly it would have been very difficult to get to the control panel.

Great idea Chiefblueman. I have not ever used mine because of switch location. It should have been inside the trailer to start with.
