Front CAP LED Lights - What's their purpose

    Hello...

Just purchased a used 2150RB with beautiful LED cap lights, but what is their purpose...???

I know they look really neat, but not sure of their purpose.

Are they so you can light up the front of the trailer when hitching/unhitching...??

Do you drive with them on...??...if so, maybe a dimmer switch should be added to them..

    Looking for input....Thanks...

I use mine to see in the dark when hitching.

I find it handy to spot our rig in the dark for when we return.

We use them on low for outside lights when we know we will be arriving after dark. Ours do have a dimmer through the One Control. Using them while driving might get a ticket as most places having blue lights is restricted to emergency vehicles.

My opinion on those cap lights isn't favorable. They are nothing more than light pollution and ruin the night time camping atmosphere . If you do use the front cap lights please think about how they affect your camping neighbors before leaving them on all night.

    NO Doubt...!!!

No doubt... I would never leave them on all night.... I'm thinking the only time they are beneficial is while hitching/unhitching at night or looking for something in the back of my truck while it's hooked to the trailer...

I ran a wire to the interior control panel so we could switch the cap lights on and off from inside the coach. Have found them handy for illuminating the entrance to the campsite for guests in unlit areas. I'd never leave them on all night.
