The push to connect fittings are SharkBite and NIBCO. I know that NIBCO is sold at Lowes and Home Depot. I would assume SharkBite is also. Here are a couple of youtube videos on how to use the push connections.

I googled PEX Push to Connect to find the videos. There is a lot of information out there.
I hope this helps! Converting all of the plumbing to PEX is a good idea.

I have the older Kantleak system. I ended up using all sharkbite fittings and PEX on every supply line coming off the Kantleak. This becomes handy when one has to pull the Kantleak out of the water service compartment to access that rats nest of plumbing, electrical and hot water fittings. I did this 3 years ago and those fittings have held.

Take a look at PEXLock fittings. Cheaper, lighter, clamp with an ordinary pliers and do not have the o-ring failure point of sharkbites. I have used them with great success on RV plumbing.

Just FYI... Lowes sells both blue and red PEX tubing in 20 foot lengths for about $5. They also sell 6 foot lengths. Plan in pending more $$ on any fittings. The main reason the manufacturers use the "other" tubing is because of its flexibility. Pex will bend for a tight curve, but it really doesn't like to. Lots of elbows needed to replace existing plumbing.
One more caveat... DO NOT buy the PEX Cinchers at Lowes for $65. We got our from Amazon for $22, including a 20 piece assortment of various sized cinch rings.
Do you consume anything on long...
