Cool Using batteries at 17% charge

I got to test out how well our lithium battery bank works at extremely low DoD.
The vast majority of the time we purposely park in spots where we receive full sun so the solar panels work at maximum efficiency.
Sometimes, very rarely, we're forced to camp in the shade. The panels still put out some amount of power, even shaded, and we have several days reserve power in the battery bank.

Last week, were staying on a friends' property outside Goldendale, Washington. It was a heavily wooded area and we stayed 3 days.
I never ran the generator. Mostly because I was curious to see how long the batteries would last if we were not skimping on electricity.
We were using the microwave several times each day, watching TV until midnight, playing Xbox, using the 300w sound bar, charging both laptops and both phones all day all 3 days, and running the furnace all night.

The morning we left we were at 17% SoC and our voltage was still a VERY useable
    12.7 volts!
The lithiums even allowed us to use the microwave to heat up some breakfast and the lights were all still at full brightness.

Don't even think of trying this with your lead-acid batteries kids!

I’m guessing you misspoke. 17% DoD is 83% charged and not remarkable. 17% SoC is a deep discharge!

    Thanks
Newbies count on the info they read on these sites as valid ...
I think it's vitally important for experienced RV'ers to quantify anything put out there (for accuracy).... BEFORE, someone gets inaccurate information and winds up more confused than they began ... LOL. !!!

    Old school ???
    Me Too...!!!
Just spent two weeks in Smokey Mtns NP
Campground with no hookups and 2 lead acid bttys. Managed just fine running Twin Honda Eu2200i's (set-up in the truck bed for QUIET)... an hour a day to keep batteries topped off. Also ran the AC and any micro cooking before 8 pm cutoff !!
1 hour( in Eco mode) chilled the trailer down for a sound, DRY night's sleep as well !!

Haha we think alike! I just bought 2 of the Honda 2200's as backup and to loan to my daughter in Houston as needed. It floods a lot over there and they lose power if the wind blows over 5 mph! The new EU 2200's are pretty slick. I tried the out and paired they will run 1 AC and everything else in my trailer.

Always cracks me up when people that paid $75k more for a trailer than I did think I'm the fool for spending $4k on batteries.
    Just sayin
