New model in 150 series lineup- 240rl
We have the 220RK and have towed it almost 10,000 miles since going full time 18 months ago and even though the one slide we have cuts off access to the bathroom, it has never once been an issue. We’ve had overnight stops at rest stops, truck stops, and Walmart and have always had plenty of room to put the slide out.
It’s a non-issue for us.
We love our little 27’ 9k# trailer! So small we can back it into the spots the larger rigs drive past, and it’s pulled with a diesel so we keep up with traffic even through the mountains.

Resistance is Not Futile, It's Voltage Divided by Current.

Same with us and our 230rl! It’s a great size and short enough (28 ft) we can park it at our house off the street

I was happy to see a shorter BH model as well (268BH), but it isn’t short enough. I think the 230RL with bunks instead of the couch/seating would be a more compelling short BH offering.

The seating area in the 230rl was the compelling reason for us [emoji6]

Understand your concern, but the 2450RL (TT) and the 240RL (5er) are targeted for couples. If someone is using the sink and counter space, the other someone just sits in the other recliner. Layouts are always a compromise with owners having to adapt to the coach for some features and getting exactly what they want with other features.
Market demands put access with the slide in as a “must have” for the majority of buyers. The order of access, the way I understand it from dealers and RV magazines is: kitchen - fridge and pantry for groceries when travelling, bathroom, bedroom.
The units under discussion allow access to everything, which explains why this layout is offered by virtually all manufacturers.Judy & Larry

The “new” 24rl is just 500 lbs shy of my discontinued reflection 27rl and I get 3 slides. Might be time for people to look for used units at a better price point than the new stuff.

Used units can make a lot of sense. I will say that for me, when it comes to slides, fewer is better.

You're correct. The 240rl hasn't made our lot yet either. It sounds like a WINNER!!!
