Slide Sticking
The last couple of time we used our camper the slideout on the street side in the living room stuck tight against the seal. When we pushed the button to open it would stick for a second then release quickly, both opening and closing would do this. What is the best lube to use on this when we open back up next year?

Google RVgeeks, they have a Utube video on slide out maintenance. They recommend using baby powder over any type spray due to sprays attracting dirt and dust that can damage the seals.

Steve...you might want to check the upper corners of the outside slideout flange and make sure that there's nothing wrong. I had an issue with ours that the eternabond tape that they put on the inside corner of the flange got damaged and the adhesive was sticking to the bulb seal...in fact it pulled the bulb seal off the T rail.

Our 337rls is at a local repair shop right now because the kitchen slide hangs up at the top. The bottom comes in, and if you stop when the bottom is about 12" in, the top sometimes pops loose or you have to pull on the top with both hands to pop it free. Hopefully its just an adjustment. I'm not too crazy about the way the kitchen slide moves when it works right to start with.

We had the same issue on our 303RLS and took it back to the dealer for some maintenance work on it. After a small adjustment to the system and being embarassed when the technician handed me several dog chews and a handful of toothpicks which were found under the slide with the refrigerator, stove, etc. After that I started checking underneath and removed any foreign matter that might have slid under the slide and I have had no issues with it binding any more. It is amazing how much havoc a small dog chew or even tooth picks can do when the roller happens to ride up on it as the slide comes in.

I found no damage to any of my gasket, I used baby powder as suggested (thanks for the tip Steve) and shown on YouTube video. Apparently NewMar recommends the use of baby powder. We have our unit in the garage for winter storage now, I will see if this worked in the spring.
