Imagine 2500RL Pictures
In case anyone is interested, we went to a small rally this past weekend and looked at the 2500 just to see the new, lighter colored interior. First thing that hits you when you walk in-the number of windows and amount of light in the trailer. That, combined with the lighter colored cupboards/cupboard interiors, lead me to believe we wouldn’t be installing so many lights inside the storage areas. .
The sink-stove kitchen corner is exactly the same as our 2018 2150, however, with the larger doors and hidden hinges, it appears bigger. Also, when we close our 2150 cupboards, they sound like they came in a flat-pack, assembly required. These new doors sound much more solid and are quieter (even though the finish is a laminate).
Lots of room around the bed. Again, lighter closets/interiors mean you can readily see what’s in there.
And some things just don’t change:
On another positive note, they seem to have taken the mattress complaints seriously, because when I sat on this one, my butt bones didn’t knock on the particle board surface beneath it!
One thing I wish we had...(see next post below)Bruce and Nancy

When I looked at the 2020’s I felt like the new cabinet doors were made of MDF and veneer it seems the 2019 and older are a real wood. Am I mistaken? I do like the lighter tone in general though.

Flip,
Yes, I felt the doors were entirely veneer, yet with the interior hinges, the doors and drawers all made full contact around perimeter with the frames.
Our solid wood-framed cabinet doors (drawers, too) do not meet up with the frames. Opening/closing the doors sounds really cheap. You can feel the twisting, and hear the panels rattle when you open and especially when you close the doors. The gaps between the doors/drawers and frames can easily be seen, even though both are dark. (Easy to see if you’ve left a light on inside).
The new ones sound solid and are quieter (much). They don’t torque or twist when you pull on the handle. That said, time will tell how well the laminate holds up.
