Shower Door Handles?

Has anyone had to reattach the shower door handles to the sliding glass doors? I recently bought a 2015 337RLS and it has the 3 section sliding glass doors. The handles on either end have fallen off and I need to glue them back on but not sure what to use. The local dealership told me they use auto windshield Urethane adhesive but that did not work.

I actually have that but was not sure if it would work. The handles had a thin rubber type membrane that was inside the handle with the old glue. I will give it a try if I don't find anything else and let you know.
