Front cap height
Good afternoon........
Off the wall question here but, I thought Id ask.........
When on a level surface, connected to your truck, What would be the measured height from the bottom of the front cap to the side rail's of your truck ??
We had just picked up our new 376TH last week and when unhooking, I noticed that it was a little tight from the cap to the sidewalls of the truck.
Please advise,
Thank you,

Most folks recommend 6 - 7" clearance. If you off-road any, you might need more than that. My truck and trailer "kissed" once (no damage) when I just had 5" of clearance with the previous truck. The teeter-totter there is making sure the fiver stays level and doesn't shift weight to the rear trailer axle.

Thank you for the reply...........
I can say that I haven't checked this in sometime. Now with the new rig, I'm a little concerned. The next time I hook up, I'll pull a tape out and see what I have.
Thanks again,
