Buying a used 2018 297RSTS

I dont believe they did get the recall fixed. They bought it at the same dealership we would be taking it to for maintenance so I will try and call that dealership to follow up on the recall.

A phone call to GD with your vin # and they should be able to tell you if the recall has been done.

We had the very same issues with our 2019 RSTS297. Grand Design replaced the doors for free. Our local dealer took care of it for us. Also check you black and gray water valves function properly. We have had ours back twice to resolve our issues. Grand Design took care of the problem each time.

Thanks for your reply Pat. We purchased it used so it is now out of warranty. I reached out to Grand Design directly and they didnt offer any support. I'm going to have to schedule an appointment through the nearby dealer and see if I can get them to push it up to GD as a defect as it really seems like a defect in the wood how they are bound together.
