    Pet food tray, 2250RK

after researching for many months and watching You Tube
till my eyeballs fell out, I was impressed that this model came with
a built in pet dish that slides out from under the fridge. this was by no means
the reason i bought the 2250RK, however to my surprise, my particular
unit does not have one. Every spec listing i read and every video i watched
showed ‘‘tis feature. anyone else discover after delivery that you don’t have one either?

    Hi S,
Is the drawer there? If so, I’d contact the dealer and tell them the plastic bowls are missing. My thoughts on the matter are that even the daintiest of pets can be really messy when eating. Yes, the bowls lift out for cleaning, but can you ensure all remnants of pet food are completely out of the drawer? Squirrels, chipmunks, mice, and ants will surely be attracted to any crumbs/scents left behind.

That said, we removed the bowls and the drawer is the perfect spot to store garbage bags, food storage bags, foil, and parchment.

While a neat idea - and we do use them for feeding our dogs, they are cheap molded plastic and are very loud when the dogs are eating! But at least with our dogs, there are never any crumbs left....

Understanding you have no drawer, is the panel below the fridge same size as that pictured above by huntr70 which shows a drawer? If the space is empty and the drawer is missing you have a one of a kind IMO. Is there any chance you have an 8 cubic foot fridge, thought the 2250RK came with a 6 cubic footer.
The good news is the cabinet must be custom made as a face frame with opening for drawer would be standard.

Yeah, I've never seen one come in with out the drawer. Sometimes the plastic bowls are missing, but never the entire drawer assembly.

Tks skiddy, there is NO panel below the fridge, nada, nothing. The model number is DM2882RBFX which appears to be the 8CF model. Can’t tell you why mine came that way, i don’t know. I have an email into GD HQ and will report back when I hear from them. I don’t need or want a pet dish so the extra 2cf fridge is fine with me. All inputs appreciated.
