Roof vent cap in bad shape
I have a 2016 Momentum 380TH. There is a vent located directly behind the center AC unit. The cap for that vent is very brittle and cracking. Can anyone tell me ...
1) What that vent is for?
2) Can I get a replacement cap?
3) If replaceable (I hope), what am I looking for (ie ... part number, description, ect)
I'll try to attach a couple of pics for reference.
Thanks in advance for any help.

No, it's not the sewer vent; it's the attic vent. I just replaced mine literally last week. I thought it was for my freshwater tank, but someone set me straight. Don't bother trying to order the part from Amazon; it's not the correct part. I had to send two of them back.
Here's the part you want. I found it online at Walmart: https://www.walmart.com/ip/NEW-RecPr...Vent/345125032
It's EXACTLY the part you're looking for. Unscrew the cap off and screws right on the old one. No need for the other parts.Last edited by jim1521; 10-08-2019 at 06:13 PM.

Hey Jim.. been a while
Hey Jim , da Breeze here
How ya been pal ??
I remember you were from Pennsylvania, as was I..(Scranton area) but been living in South Florida since 1990, almost a native..lol
Havent been around the site for a bit, but saw this post of yours and glad I did !! My vent is toast, as well as a couple nasty cracks in the skylight !!
Glad I caught it now, but gotta check if it ever leaked anywhere unseen ??
Last we spoke, you were swapping out the Nautilus panel while Workamping and gave me some tips of doing mine.
I assembled the whole unit and never had a leak so its still sitting here ... LOL
This Covid thing put a crimp in my Alaska trip plans for two springs and as soon as they open Canadian border, diesel shoots up thru the roof
how have you guys been dealing with all this ??
Thought you wee full timers ??
Anyways...regarding the mushroom vent, I was thinking something like a wind-powered rotary ventilator might aid in removal of hot attic air ??
Thoughts and hopefully a nice reply. I think I'm still in the list on this site
It was recommended the post before your own
Hope to hear from you

Agreed, not sewer cap, it's the attic vent.

RV Roof Vent Cap, I know this is an older thread but this is the one I bought from Amazon and it fit our 2019 Solitude. I just replaced it today. I just used the screw on cap, the rest of the vent was is OK.

Hi Michael,
Yes, it's been awhile indeed. I don't really visit this site too often so apologies for not getting back to you sooner. We purchased a new 2020 Riverstone 39FK and are full-timing in it. We're up in N. GA for the summer, but will be heading back to Florida in November. We're going to Port St Joe this winter.
Loving the Riverstone.
