Axle Rating
Wife and I are looking at XLS 22RBE & 2250Rk as which ever one we choose will be our first TT, so all this is new to us. Both have a GVWR of 6995#'s the axle rating on both of these is 3500#'s, again i'm new to this but to me it seems like the axles would be maxed out? Is this a concern or is there more to it than i understand? We were looking at a 22' & 24' keystone cougar and their axle ratings are 4400#'s.

Don't forget that 10 - 12% of the total trailer weight (assuming loaded to the max) will be on the tongue rather than the axles.
