    TST Cap Sensor Leaks Air

Getting ready for our final trip of the season to Door County WI. So, just got the camper out of storage today. Checked the air in the tires; added a couple of pounds as expected since temps have gone down around here since I last filled them. Then I put my TST cap sensors on the tires to make sure they were working. I found one sensor that leaks air no matter how hard I screw it on to the valve stem. It wasn't leaking a month ago when I used it last. It's not a problem with the valve stem, since I tried a different sensor on that tire and it worked fine. Has anyone experienced this? Any way to fix it, or do I just need to replace that sensor?

There is a O Ring that seals the sensor to the valve stem. From what I remember, your only to snug them up. If you over tighten them, you can damage the O Ring.

When I got my TST, I got a bag of O rings. Makes me wonder, where did I put these?

O ring is bad or has been pinched and grooved.

Thanks, all. I'll check the O ring.
