Installed Tank heaters and installed insulation on all water lines
Hi everyone! Just finishing up installing 5 tank heaters and wrapping foam insulation on all water lines. Also following information from this forum. I modified the ends of the ductwork for the belly heater.
Here are some pictures of the wiring.
Used a 50 amp mega fuse in something in case something catastrophic happened. Then wired the relay to apply the power. Then added 5 10 amp fuses to take care of each individual tank heater.. for whatever reason it says I can only add 5 pictures per post... ScottScott&Shelley Gillis (Pack Members.. I put 1inch pvc caps for the replaced them with 1inch pvc caps. I pushed them on the factory t connections for the under belly heat. They use a t connection and leave the ends open. There are 4 of them. By the time it gets to the last one ..There is little to no air comming out of it. Then I drilled a hole in the end of three of them. I now have good air flow to the end.

Nice job, Scott! That's a big job, or at least it was for me. I did all this to my 2017 with the exception of tank heaters. While I was under there I also insulated the frame rails with Reflectix. Built a sort of duct around the piping to the island out of reflectix. These are the only things back that far to freeze. Pointed one of the heat ducts at it so when the furnace ran you could faintly feel the heat where the pipes exited under the sink. Baffled off the rear quarter of the belly, nothing to keep warm there.
While I had the coroplast down I went ahead and upgraded the brake wiring to #10 and ran a pair of wires from the cap light switch in the Nautilus compartment to the interior control panel. This made the cap lights useful being able to control them from inside or outside the coach.

Now that you have the experience you should get the new one done in half the time
Scott, nice work ! that's quite a big task. How long did it all take?
We have a plan in action right now to protect against freezing, we are taking the trailer to FL so it won't freeze. the things we do for our rigsMarcy & Gary
