    Stove top glass

    Heres one girls left to go shopping stove had not been used figured i would surprise them and clean up camper sprayed glass cleaner went to wipe off glass popped up and shattered glass in rear section to a million pieces has anyone else have this happen to them

    It was the strangest think hardley any pressure on the glass it jus popped up on the hinge and exploded i just looked at it for a second thinking what the heck

    How old is your rig? if still in warranty call GD and maybe they can send you a replacement.
    They diddn't put tops on when we got our 303. I bought a black metal one out of fear of breaking the glass

    I have a 303, but no top. No glass, no metal. Having a hard time imagining what the top is needed for. We have 3 burners, but I don’t think that I would want a top on them. We have plenty of prep space on the island, and a little space to the right side of the stove.

    Its a brand new 2020 on its second camping trip it goes back to dealer next month campers inn i had called them and they are going to try and submit it under warranty

    We had our 150 series 297RL about 2 weeks when my wife lifted the glass cover and it exploded. GD sent us a new one.

    Sounds like a defective piece of tempered glass. GD should warranty the stove top.

    We never had a cover before either, but if there is no cooking involved it the glass cover provides a nice temporary counter-top space...
