    Dometic AC in Reflections?

So we have been looking at the new Reflection 367bhs and have noticed that all the units sold down here have 2 acs and they have been the Coleman Mach units. We found a really nice used 2018 367bhs and it is equipped with Dometic acs. Did Grand Design install Dometic acs in the past?

And my early Reflection 323BHS has the Atwood a/c unit. Lippert has since purchased Atwood and done away with the competition.

    We like the Atwood unit.

Thanks guys. I guess GD switched to the Coleman at some point. So Superduty...have you had good luck with the Dometic?

They switched to Coleman about a year ago...maybe a little longer.

I have the Dometic on my Reflection trailer. The unit works fine, but is loud and the thermostats have been known to have reliability issues. Some have replaced the thermostats with new ones and that has solved the issue. If I were to add another unit or replace one, it would be an Coleman.

We had the Dometics in our 2017 trailer and now have the Colemans in our 2020. The Colemans are quite a bit quieter and I like the normal buttons on the thermostats.

So is it possible to replace a Dometic ac with a Coleman in the Reflection or are there differences in the ducting and/or wiring? Just wondering if anyone has taken that on.

Hey Kim, the thermostat you now have, is it interchangeable with Dometic.....does it also have to talk to the ac. I really dislike the Dometic Capacitive Touch
