    Awning

Had our awning replaced due to hail damage this summer. Awning worked normal at the dealership. When we were camping, it stopped when trying to retract it. I pushed on it while my wife hit the button and it went back in place-now it wont open. I can hear a “hum” or something like that when I hit the button to extend it but it won’t move. Asking if there is an obvious fix to this I can do from home that is relatively easy-dealer is 2 hours away. 2016 Reflection 337.

    Thanks.

I would say that it is very possible that the arms aren't aligning and have jammed. There is a option to manually extend the awning using a drill and socket.

Awning no longer retracts evenly, when rear portion is fully retracted, front is 3-4" still out there.
    Anybody else had this issue?

    Thanks,

It sounds like one edge of the awning has slipped. Measure from the ends of the roll tube to make sure that it is centered on the tube, then measure from the awning mounts to the awning and again make sure that edge of the awning is centered. The next thing will be to check the alignment of the arms and make sure that the wind hasn't bent one.
