    Bent passthrough doors

Picked up new 295RL on Tuesday. Spend the week in an RV park next to the dealership to shake it down.

Both of the new slam latch doors on the passthrough storage are bent. The deflection on one door is 1/2 inch at the latch (bent in) and about 3/8 on the other door. We went over to the dealership and found that the other 2020's in the Reflection series had similar levels of bend at the latch.

We opened a case with GD and are waiting to hear back from them. Has anyone else with the new slam latch doors seeing this? I wonder if it is a mfg issue with putting the latch mechanism on the doors at the machine, or guy pushes too hard and bends the doors?

I noticed that on a few Solitudes we looked at last year at Lazydays in FL. It could be either they came that way from the factory or someone between there and the dealer manhandled the door and bent them up. Either way they should to be replaced by GD since it was that way on new pickup.

With any luck that will be your worst issue with the trailer. Happy camping!

They should really have 2 latches, not one in the middle.

If you look how they are mounted, the frame is cut and thinner at the latch mechanism.

It creates a weak point in the middle of the door.
