HDMI in 2020 2970 RL Imagine

Does anyone else have HDMI while playing a DVD . Ours is not working and the dealer told us we would have to connect our own HDMI cord.

Don’t know why one would have anything to do with the other. Put a dvd in the slot and set ‘source’ to dvd, press ‘play’ and enjoy.

Look on the back of your TV and see if an HDMI cable is hooked to it. If so then hopefully GD hooked the other end to you DVD player.

The TCL television in our Imagine has HDMI inputs available; however the Jensen head unit only has AV outputs - no HDMI output. Our head unit connects to the TV's AV inputs (red, white, and yellow RCA jacks), not the HDMI input.

My 2250RK came with a 40” TV and three unused HDMI slots but may be pre hard wired for the DVD as i just insert the dvd and away we go. i do have a separate HDMI cable plugged in to one of the three available slots to use with a apple dongle to watch youtube and other stuff via my phone on the big screen.

Did something change? I thought RV sound systems didn't play Blue Ray disks.

not sure about that, i just know that when i insert a dvd and choose the ‘AV’ source on the TV, I watch and enjoy it. (2250RK)

PS. I doubt that manufacturers are making dvd players nowadays that are not exclusively blu ray because of backwards compatibility.
