Anyone using a dishwasher in their caravan? Thoughts?

Hiyya All, we've had a 20ft van for 5 years now, and for the amount of time we have used the oven we're thinking we should have gone for a dishwasher instead - with a family of 4, certainly would have been more useful on way more occasions given we mostly stay in van parks.

Does anyone have a dishwasher in their van, and if so, what do you think of it? A quick scan of the www only returns three main brands that I have found that are 'caravan friendly': Dometic, Momo and Omega. Price between the three varies widely, which means also their quality. Other than the Momo, none seem to have any reviews posted, and the Momo reviews reflect benchtop operation in a small apartment kitchen. Anything that is built for apartment use to me suggests that it will not handle the vibration and environment of a van, so perhaps Dometic, as van gadget suppliers, are really the only option?

    Anyone have any experience/thoughts?
    Thx

First off , this forum is mostly Grand Design owners , which means we have towable RV’s. That being said I would bet things in my fifth wheel get beaten up worse than they would in your van. I installed a Bosch 17” compact a year and a half ago. It’s been towed over 12k miles and used almost every night while on the road with no issues.

We call them trailers, the rest of the world calls them caravans.
