    "Where?" to get the part?

    In order to get GD parts for GD products they must be ordered through a dealership. GD will not sell direct to consumers.

    Try Pharr RV in Lubbock, TX. Good & easy to deal with on GD parts.

    We lost the cover over our awning's motor. The following company is the manufacturer of the main awning on our 2018 Solitude 310GK, but I don't believe that GD uses these products exclusively so best to confirm first with GD (or other knowledgeable owner) if your awning comes from these folks. If it does, they were great to deal with, sold the correct part to me directly, and shipped quickly.

    What brand awning is it? Literature should be in your GD folder. Then call the manufacturer.

    When I was looking for parts for mine I found very little information in the GD information, However Dometic (awning maker for my unit) had excellent customer service and got me free parts.

    It is the Longitude model, and the part number for the caps is R001829-006

    Saw a 10 pack on Ebay recently for about $26.

    I bought the 10 pack after losing one. Kind of glad I did. I've broken two of them since while washing with my pole mounted brush. They aren't the most heavy duty piece on the rig.

    I ordered the 10 as well(free shipping)..... with shipping charges on 1-2 $15... I will just find a place to store them..
