For those interested you can remove the false wall the TV mounts to, it took 10 minutes, it is all finished behind. I pick up a nice heavy duty 25" extendable TV mount. Now the TV come out past the outer wall and tiles and turns. We also pick up several wall mount DVD's holders and mounted them to the back wall for storage.
Next we removed the crappy radio/DVD player ($120 system) in the center compartment and installed a amp, receiver, blue ray system... now everything looks better and actually works like it should...
Whole upgrade cost less then $500, most expense item was the amp, blue ray $80, wall mount $80.
Try it, what a difference it all makes..
