2020 imagine 2670mk sliding bathroom door
We just purchased a 2020 Imagine 2670mk because we loved the floor plan. We love everything about this trailer except the sliding bathroom door. There is a 3/4 inch separation between the door and the wall allowing guests to see into the bathroom. Possible solutions?

The barn door arrangements are ideal as doors and jambs do not need to be fitted, time saver during manufacture. The only real solution is to install jambs and hang a sold door, or put in an accordion style folding door - leaving the barn door. If the lack of privacy is an issue the accordion style is ideal as both can be used and you can alternate the closing side.

You could try adding a "sweeper" to the edge of the door.

If the door is not meeting the wall, it wasn't installed correctly. All Grand Design RVs that I've been in have pocket doors for the bathroom - and they all meet the wall (including in our Reflection 337). It sounds like the upper track for the pocket door was mounted incorrectly. You can remove the trim from the top (usually on the outside of the bathroom) and access the track to assess the situation.

Hmm, that's a change! My older version has a real door!

I wish that it was a pocket door. This year they have gone with a barn door style. I could move the track but if it was flush it would probably damage the wall with it sliding back and forth. Somebody didn’t think this design change all the way through. I will probably end up putting a piece of door stop on the wall or else jamming it out for a real door.
