Rob
I thought there was an over ride to bypass the EMS. My manual states this switch is located on the remote display and allows the user to bypass the EMS in the event of failure, thus allowing AC power into the RV. This does not disable the surge protection portion of the EMS; however, all other features are disabled.
Maybe your unit did not offer this feature.
Thanks
Bob

If the unit is completely dead, there is another bypass, but you need to take the cover off and have a jumper wire prepared. Take a look at the entry for 17-March-2019 at http://rvhome.school/Our-RV.html
