    Thanks. From what we saw, it looked like solar wouldn't keep up with our needs (we have big dogs that require AC) - so the generator was the only real choice.

    FYI You can add an Onan Auto Command to the generator that will automatically start the genset if you lose shore power and the temp in the coach goes above a set value. You must have the AC set to the on position though.
