    2250RK water heater

In this example, I don't know if the dealership filled the hot water tank before I took delivery and I realize when I get home that I didn't ask that question.
How do I check to see if the HW heater truly has been filled BEFORE I turn it on? Thank you!!

You can turn on the hot water at the kitchen or bath faucet, let it run until the air is out of the hot water line, and then the water heater should be full of water - unless the valves have been adjusted to bypass the water heater as part of the winterization process.

Gotcha, not sure what I was thinking but thanks to your reply it dawned on me (duh) that unless I've turned the hot water heater ON via elect or LP, that whether
or not there is water in the tank, the tank will not heat up and be at risk of burning out if it is empty. I guess sometimes common sense is not common.
    Thanks again!

The winterize antifreeze bypass valves are underneath the oven on 2250RK; you have to make sure you are no bypassing water heater before you turn it on. There are 3 valves and one in center needs to be closed and other 2 nearest top and bottom of water heater open. You can also remove plastic water heater drain plug on outside of camper and see if water is coming out also; you have to do this to drain water heater before winterizing. Previous camper you could remove low point drains and it would drain water heater but not on 2250RK.

I used Velcro to secure panel underneath oven and added to 2 small pull knobs to make it easy and quick to access bypass valves and not have to remove screws every time.
