Hello, from Lehigh Valley PA. 2020 Reflection 303RLS

    Hello Everyone,

Wife and I purchased our first 5th wheeler. We have been in a Travel Trailer (2003 Trail Lite 32') for past 8 years with two kids. Created many memories.
Now, with one in college and the other in trade school. Now it is just her and I and the dogs and the kids occasionally.

We picked up our new 2020 Reflection 303RLS on 11/8/19 and that same day, we took it out that day from the dealer to a local campground for a weekend to shake it down. The weather was a high of 38 and low of 19. Thank goodness for the 4 season package which proved itself well. No issues with the 5'ver. (Pending name: Round Around Sue). Still undecided on her name. What do you think?

So now we are planning and putting together a two week trip. More like winging it, seems to fit our style best. Looking to head south. Hopefully leaving just after Thanksgiving. (LA, MS, AL, GA, TN, KY, WV, PA. Just some ideas.

Looking forward to be part of this group.

I'm sure we will be posting and asking for suggestions of places to go and stop and see.

It would be great to hear from you all.

    Rob and Jo

Congrats on the Reflection! They're nice rigs. Are you going to full time in it?

    Thanks Chemist308

Not for a few years yet for full timing. We will be doing some extended weekends, one other 2 weeker, then a few full weeks here and there.

This trip in December(for 2 weeks), we will head straight for New Orleans then over to Savanna GA. Spending few days each. Not sure from there. Trying to plan this all in a weeks time. We will get it figured out.

    Thanks Dan.

We love the floor plan and the simplicity. As soon as we saw it, we were sold.
Not sure where you are in PA but, we purchased the unit from Tom Schaffer's RV in Shoemakersville PA.

We are from Northern Dauphin County about 35 miles northeast of Hbg. We purchased our 2016 308 bhts from Tom Schaeffers in October 2015. Our 303 we bought from Ansley RV near Altoona I wont say how much better we did as I dont want to rain on your parade. What is your tow vehicle?

Congrats on the 303! A very popular rig. Like you, we camped in a TT for many years with the kids but now that they are off on their own the 303 is perfect for my wife and I. We are very jealous that you are still able to use it. Ours in in storage until spring.

I like the idea of winging it on trips. Some of our best memories were made on those kinds of trips.

    Happy travels!

our TV is a 2013 Ford F250 Super Duty - King Ranch - 6.7 Diesel, with complete tow package, it only has $38k miles on it. Its not even broken in yet, lol.
I have no shame in what we paid, Ill tell you. Out the door we paid $45,474. With Ferrion backup/rearview camera and B&WH Hitch w Slider.

    Thanks MN-Mark.
It will be different without the kids. They did join us for one night because it was a new toy and have had to take part in it.
I'm sure they may bum along at sometime.
The best part was the dealer winterized the unit for us, not knowing we were leaving right from the dealership and going to a campground.
Not many near us that are all year. It was a safe assumption on their part.
I have to admit it was very easy to winterize after our 3 day stay in it. Alot easier then the previous TT.

As far as winging it, I just hope we can find a truck stop or lots that are open on the way to New Orleans, we will need 2 nights. After that we plan on having some reservations. Packing the generator just in case. Hope for the best.
    This should be fun.
