    Slide moving out while towing

I'm trying to get some ideas why my hydraulic slide is moving out while driving. We have been doing this towing thing for five years and this last move to Dead Horse Ranch State Park, AZ, is the first time a slide has moved like this. It, the passenger side, came out about 8". As soon as I realized that it was out, we pulled over and closed it up. It happened once more, for a total of two times, Any input would be most appreciated !!!

The hydraulic valve on the ram must be sticking open allowing fluid to move and the slide to come open. Not sure if it's user serviceable. Give Lippert a call (try to get the service guys in Oregon, they know their stuff)

As a temporary fix you can shut the valves for the slides while traveling, this may help, but you should figure out the actual problem (this may or may not work depending on where the issue is). The slide valves are in the curb side propane compartment and most likely not labeled.

This happened to me as well and shutting the hyd valves in the rt propane compartment did not work. The valve in the ram was stuck open in my case.

Had to take it in for replacement under warranty.
