I haven't had to do it myself but it's a common topic on all of the trailering forums. A axle flip where it's moved from above to below the spring is a common mod. That's a 4" change and I haven't ever heard of anyone reporting ill effects in towing. With a 3" lift you're increasing the overall camper height by 2% and yes the C of G will change but it'll be insignificant. Can't be worse that a 337 with an overall height 5" taller than a 303 or a Momentum that's 18" taller. Just my 2 cents...

Are those dimensions on the height or ground clearance?

Weigh the axles on the Reflection to see if you are overloading the rear.

If not overloaded, no problems. I tow nose high also, but axle weight is pretty close, so no big deal.

It actually tows better this way than lower.

Most of the shorter 5th wheels we sell leave the dealership nose high, as the newer 4X4 trucks all are taller than the older ones.

I assume you are a dealer, right? If so, when you sell one do you advise the customer that it could be a problem and it's up to them to make the decision to tow it that way or not?

I tow with a 2014 Ram 2500. Right now I'm close to 4" nose high. I plan on upgrading to 245/75/16 wheels and tires. I pulled my camper up on some 1" boards to get an idea of where I'll be with the new tires. I'll be 2.5" nose high with them. It's not perfect but I can live with that. I have 7" bed rail clearance.

How much is it going to cost for wheels and tires? Did your truck come with the factory 5er prep?

For 5 wheels and tires using Firestone transforce it will be just over $1400. Yes mine came with factory 5th prep. I raised my pin box on the camper as high as it would go. I use a B&W patriot on its lowest setting.

Just curious, why not just raise the hitch and leave the pin box alone?
