I currently live in Albuquerque but lived in Alamogordo for many years. I agree the mod will void my frame warranty but I believe the frame is only covered for a year so it's out of warranty anyway.

GD has flat 4 wiring on the back ends for a couple years now.

My GD is a 2017 Reflection. The sticker near the receiver specifically says using it for towing will void the warranty.

As a 2017, yes, it did not have the wiring.

The hitch and frame is the same as they are now, just with the added chain hooks and 4 flat wiring.

Concise, thank you. Can you imagine a guy from say, Nebraska, towing a fifth wheel and a boat on the 405 at rush hour? Or on I10 thru LA? Those guys have no idea of the traffic we get here. California does not prevent this kind of towing, just they want to make sure the driver is skilled enough to do it safely, hence the license requirement.

That is a completely idiotic statement. I prefer a driver from say Nebraska over any driver I have experienced in California. To say that a driver from Nebraska has "no idea" of the traffic you get in California is ignorant. I submit that you probably haven't been far outside of California if you think you have the only bad traffic in the US.

I have family in North Platte. ONE freeway goes thru the state! You must have never been out of that god forsaken mess....

And what I said is I would not like to see a driver from where ever towing doubles in California traffic with out the proper license.
