DSI Fault Flickers when starting electric tank
I have a relatively new 2020 315RLTS. Went to turn on the electrict hot water tank and noticed that the DSI Fault light flickered. It was very dim but it flickered once and never came back on. Do I have a problem?

Probably not, I've noticed a very brief flicker on ours occasionally.
It's supposed to light when the board is telling the heater it needs to heat, but go out if the electric heater is doing that job.
Turn off the electric, let the water heater cool down, and then try it on gas to be sure there isn't an issue. There wasn't / hasn't been (touch wood) on ours.Mark - 2018 Solitude 310GK - 2017 F-350 diesel SRW short box - Pullrite Superglide hitch

From my understanding, the light should always be on whenever the HW heating element is activated....
whether its gas or electric.

My light only flickers on electric as well. The only time it should stay lit is if there is a fault while lighting.

I must retract my prior statement.!
I don't know if it's a different system in my unit, but I double-checked it yesterday and the HW light definitely stays ON when either gas or electric is engaged.
This is designed to tell me the system is ON. All is operating normally.
